Always showing your best side: Portrait Illustrations

Many companies would like to give their employees and executives a face on the Internet, in annual reports, annual financial statements or in print media. But not everyone wants photos of themselves to circulate - so why not simply use illustrated portraits for your corporate communication? On the one hand, in our digital and fast-moving world, illustrations are always perceived as something extraordinary and special. On the other hand, a drawing always shows you from your best side: not directly, but in a modified form with a focus on the essentials. For the World Wide Web and print media in particular, drawings are therefore a good, perhaps even better, alternative to photos. Whether digital, analogue, animated, abstract, photo-realistic - stylistically everything is possible!

One of the greatest advantages of illustration in times of a pandemic is certainly its location independence. Our illustrators can create their portraits with existing material and even make high-quality drawings from cell phone photos. In addition, no time-consuming shootings have to be organised, which means that the drawn portrait can be implemented more quickly. But the greatest benefit of illustration is its aesthetics and ability to bring out the best of the portrayed person.

A portrait illustrator certainly needs talent and good technique for this, but above all a passion for people and faces. It can be interesting to go into detail and see the character behind the facade - or the illustrator may just focus on a few salient features.
