Chloe Dolic

Chloé Dolic is very organized person that thrives in creative chaos – at the start she likes to be surrounded by all the materials she might need, she then sorts them out one by one, until the job is done!

Chloé wants to inspire joy with her illustrations – the same joy that she experiences while creating them! She gets her inspiration from all over: She loves museums and classic artists but also enjoys discovering new cultures, textile patterns or architecture.

She has mastered many techniques, in illustration as well as animation. For her animations she mainly works in After Effects and Cinema 4D, but she also likes to turn off her computer to create animated cartoons or stop motion films with puppets and other objects. For her illustrations she likes to use watercolours, ink, paper and scissors or Procreate on her iPad – but her pencil makes her invincible: “On paper the world is beautiful!”

Her illustrations are cheeky, her line very animated, but with animations Chloé Dolic likes to adapt perfectly to the topic and the client. After the briefing Chloé draws a lot, to get a feel for the subject. Next are scribbles and moods to convey her vision to the client, then the final artwork.

Chloé loves to get her hands dirty: „It gives me the feeling of having achieved something!“ – She misses the handmade element when working at the computer, but compensates that with her personal works.

An especially great project brought Chloé to „Under Pressure“: a sweet café where she painted four walls with her typography. – „It was quite a challenge for me, because two of the walls were 4x3 meters large. Additionally, I designed their logo and business cards.“

Chloé Dolic has a passion for character design. She creates little stories around them: Things they like, things they hate, quirks and flaws that make them interesting and set them apart. – „I would love to create a complete character design for a big animated movie one day!“
