Illustrators who are thematically at home in medicine need not only a penchant for detail, but also a profound knowledge of anatomy. Although there are no limits to the design, the medical illustrations must above all be factually correct. On charts, in patient brochures or other medical publications, illustrations are used to present complex topics in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
